Welcome To CBC Cricket Club Western Australia
CBC Cricket Club has been established for over 70 years and is one of the most successful clubs in Australia with over 70 premierships. You can read more about our history on our history and records pages.

We are a member of the South Metropolitan Cricket Association (www.smcacricket.com) and field four sides being 1st grade, 2nd grade, 5th grade and a One Day D grade side.

All games are played on Saturday afternoons. We have a vibrant mix of members, both young and old and we welcome new members. Our home ground, training and social facilities are located at Karoonda Oval, Karoonda Rd in Booragoon. Our usual training evenings are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm onwards.

Congratulations to the CBC 1st Grade who have won the 2009/2010 Premiership.
 
In a fantastic game of cricket, CBC defeated Leeming by 1 wicket. Leeming batted first and made 7/232. Duncan Spencer and Lucas Fielding took 3 wickets each. CBC then batted and after a great start by Andrew Galbraith (34) and Dean Prebble (26) who put on 68 for the 2nd wicket, Brad Bootsma shone, scoring 109 which included 7 sixes. However, the job was not done, with 18 runs still needed when Gavin Swan joined Lucas Fielding for the 10th wicket. The boys got over the line with 19 balls to spare to cap off an amazing season.
 
The Club was pumping on Sunday night and thanks to all involved. The team was:

A big congratulations to Nik Hofmeester and Tim Regan who tied for first in the 2009/2010 CBC Cricketer of the Year.

It was a fantastic night enjoyed by all and the turn out was fantastic. This is the first time that either Nik or Tim have won the award. Both players had outstanding seasons with Nik making 390 runs at 35.5 and taking 27 wickets at 12.2 and Tim making 258 runs at 17.2 and taking 40 wickets at 11.6.
 
We would also like to congratulate Craig Carter and Brad Bootsma who finished second and third respectively. Well done to these two players on their outstanding seasons as well.
